Staying In contact

If you would like to stay in tune with scores, events, news or equally want to leave us a message please visit our Twitter @WHCC1905 or  Woking Horsell Facebook pages.

Due to the recent and ongoing weather conditions this Saturday's Training day has been cancelled. We will look to have a players meeting following next weeks games.

The captains will be in contact regarding next weeks games so please keep them informed if you are available for them and the ongoing fixtures.

Thank you

The Cricket Committee
Woking and Horsell has entered a team into the newly formed Surrey Slam Twenty20 Cup this season. The format will see us playing one game a fortnight in the Northwest Division before progression to either a cup or plate knock-out with a minimum of five games guaranteed. Within out division the newly formed Woking & Horsell Lions will be taking on:

Chobham Badgers
Camberley Cannons
Valley End Vikings

Games will start at 6pm on weekday evenings but have been kept localised in order to reduce travel with rules in place to ensure games finish at a reasonable time. They will be played with pink balls and most teams will have coloured kit.

The competition is aimed at people of all abilities with player eligibility rules in place to limit the number of first-team players. The purpose is to get more people playing cricket (especially those struggling to make the time commitment on a Saturday).

Our first fixture will be in the first or second week of May so please let our captain Stuart Warner know if you are interested in playing as we are trying to put a squad together.
