Does anyone know the rules for this competition?

Well its taken five seasons for Woking and Horsell to take to the field in this competition so it would have been rude not to try and drag five seasons worth of drama into one game.

As luck would have it we were drawn against premier league leaders Sunbury and the game started with a toss that both captains were desperate to win, Sunbury shaded it with an inspired call of heads and proceeded to just about shade the rest of the game. This meant that Sunburys 6 players would bat against Wokings 9 fielders with Sunbury's umpire doubling up as scorer!

Twenty 20 Campaign Starts Victoriously

Arriving at a home game to find the opposition all in whites and ready to go 25 minutes before the scheduled start time, whilst the home side arrive one by one upto and beyond the start time in jeans/t-shirts. Then the skipper disappears to pick up the scorer would hardly suggest a professional outfit, but from the moment Salam strode down the track 5th ball and smashed the Old Woking paceman back over his head into the sightscreen, the (mainly) young Woking and Horsell 20/20 side stamped their authority on the game and produced a thoroughly professional performance.
